Christmas Eve celebrated at Bela Church

Christmas Eve was celebrated with great joy and happiness at Our Lady of Dolours Church, Bela, on 24th December 2024.

The celebrations began at 7.00 PM with the choir leading the carol singing.

Parishioners joined in, singing Christmas carols that symbolized the spirit of the season.

At 730 PM, the Solemn Festive Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Faustine Lobo, the designated Director of Father Muller Charitable Institutions and the present Administrator of Father Muller Homoeopathic Hospital, Derlakkate. He was joined by Rev. Fr Stany Pereira, the Parish Priest of Bela Church; Rev. Fr Rocky Fernandes, Principal of St Mary College, Bela; and Rev. Fr Santhosh DSouza SVD as con-celebrants.

After the Mass, refreshments were served to all the those gathered.

Following this, the ICYM Bela organized the Nathala Sanz - 2024, a short cultural programme, adding to the festive spirit. The children from Kalathur Chapel, Altar Servers, Marian Sodality and YCS presented cultural performances that enhanced the joy of Christmas. Prizes for competitions held during the Christmas season were distributed. A cake auction was conducted by the ICYM members, and the YCS organized a Christmas Gift Tree stall, symbolizing the joy of sharing and giving.
